Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on 28th September 2026.

We at Howell & Laffey are working to make our site howellandlaffey.co.uk accessible to people with disabilities.

Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we've done

This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also:

  • Clear heading structure and descriptive link and button text.

  • Alternative text on meaningful images.

  • Text and background colours chosen for readable contrast.

  • Pages that work with a keyboard and screen readers.

  • Reduced motion for visitors who turn off animations on their device.

Known limitations

Some animated sections and third-party content, such as embedded forms, may not be fully accessible yet. We're working to improve them.

Feedback

If you have trouble using any part of this site, email [email] or call [number] and we'll help, and fix the problem where we can.

Requests, issues and suggestions

If you find an accessibility issue on the site, or if you require further assistance, you are welcome to contact us through the organisation's accessibility coordinator: on hello@howellandlaffey.co.uk
